    Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. (“Ferrara”), a leading custom fire apparatus and rescue vehicle manufacturer that engineers and manufactures vehicles for municipal and industrial customers. The Ferrara product portfolio includes multiple fire apparatus configurations tailored to the specific requirements and demands of the fire service industry – including custom-builds on their own chassis as well as solutions on commercially available chassis such as Freightliner and International. This acquisition enhances REV’s product offering in its Fire Group within its Fire & Emergency segment, particularly with custom chassis pumpers, aerials and industrial apparatus.


    The Service Manager oversees FFA’s service operation, which provides retail and warranty repair and maintenance services to our customers and dealers. The Service Manager is responsible for maximizing the revenue, efficiency, and profitability of the service department while achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The Service Manager will be required to control costs, expand our loyal clientele, maintain good employee relations, and set and obtain sales and profit objectives.


    FFA’s NJ / NY Service Manager will also be required further develop a mobile service capability to profitably service customers throughout New York, New Jersey (North East US).


    • Creating goals and objectives for the Service Department, which includes an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business.
    • As needed, traveling to visit customers and dealers both to provide technical expertise, and to establish/grow relationships to enhance revenue.
    • Hiring and supervising all service department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance in servicing customers.
    • Providing training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.
    • Encouraging technicians to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic technical training on new systems and components offered by the automotive manufacturers.
    • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed.


    • ASE or equivalent certifications are preferred
    • Minimum fifteen years experience as in a Service Department, with at least 10 years in a managerial role. Preferably dedicated to servicing trucks and/or commercial vehicles.
    • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining scheduling and staffing tools
    • Must have excellent communication skills with ability to interface directly with both customers and dealers.
    • Must possess a high energy level with a strong work ethic.
    • Advanced time management skills.
    • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
